Redline

This anime film is so superbly drawn. Every single frame is rendered with crisp lines, strong lighting casting deep shadows and splashes of hyper vibrant colour. The gritty motion of the vehicles is handled beautifully. Wikipedia states that the anime took 7 years to make and involved over 100,000 hand made drawings. The storyline is kind of simplistic, if maybe a little dumb but how cares, the animation is an insane and exhilarating ride.
