Akira

I have finally watched Akira. Mind is totally blown! I recognise that I’m a bit of a latecomer to the Akira party but I totally get it. This film hasn’t aged one bit. It’s a cinematic masterpiece. Every single frame in every scene, is rendered with so much attention to detail. I can see how it influenced (and continues to influence) so much science fiction ever since. I honestly just don’t have the words to describe it any more. I’m going to watch it all again and again and again.
